Max's Story

Max wrote and illustrated a story.  Independently and unexpectedly.  I love that he edits himself.

This is Daddy.  He has long hair.  Here is his ponytail (draws).
He has looong legs (draws).

Now I'm going to draw Mommy, Vanh, and Max.

 This is Mommy.  Mommy has a lot of hair (draws).

Mommy's face is in here.

 This is Vanh.

 Mommy and Vanh have a lot, lot of hair (draws).

 This is Max...

 ... hey!  Look at Daddy's ponytail!  Stop that Vanh!

 I will fix Daddy's ponytail (draws).

 This is Max.

Max has short legs (draws).

 

I drawed Daddy, Mommy, Max and Vanh.

 

(writes) The words say, "It's time to go to bed."

(his writing is bottom right)

  

Wait... Max needs some hair (draws).

Max has short hair.

Max is mad.  

Mommy is so happy.  

Vanh will want to watch TV and have treats.

Mommy will give them some ice cream.

(Oh!  We need something for Daddy)

Daddy wants to make breakfast.
