26 months old

The boys are wearing their Tet Trung Thu outfits for these commemorative photos, as they will probably have outgrown them by Wednesday. (Yes I know these are traditional Chinese outfits, but we bought them in Vietnam, and they're the closest we have.)

We visited Montreal's Chinatown last weekend and the boys chose these parasols for souvenirs:

We also found these traditional Vietnamese hats:

And lanterns for our parade:

Here's the biggest news of the day - photos of the boys having their very first naps in their firetruck beds:

They had their first sleep in them last night. Bye-bye cribs!

Happy 26 months of life, babies!

BABY, I LOVE YOUR WAY
Frampton 1974

Shadows grow so long before my eyes
And they're moving across the page
Suddenly the day turns into night
Far away from the city
But don't hesitate 'cause your love won't wait

Ooh baby I love your way (everyday)
Wanna tell you I love your way
Wanna be with you night and day

Moon appears to shine and light the sky
With the help of some fireflies
I wonder how they have the power to shine, shine, shine
I can see them under the pine
But don't hesitate 'cause your love won't wait

Ooh baby I love your way (everyday)
Wanna tell you I love your way
Wanna be with you night and day
But don't hesitate 'cause your love won't wait

I can see the sunset in your eyes
Brown and grey and blue besides
Clouds are stalking islands in the sun
I wish I could buy one out of season
But don't hesitate 'cause your love won't wait

Ooh baby I love your way (everyday)
Wanna tell you I love your way
Wanna be with you night and day
