I seem to be forgetting a lot of things lately, especially things that need to get done during business hours. Here is our ever-changing list of things to do. Hope it helps!
Wednesday:
1) call CIC in Sydney to ask about needed Citizenship document. Remember you will need up to an hour of time during the day to wait on hold.
2) call MPs office back as they called but didn't leave message. Original person trying to get us Citizenship Part I away for 2 weeks; need to update with file # and travel dates
3) call CHEO back
4) expect call back from Insurance Company about coverage for children adopted overseas
5) begin serious house-cleaning
6) send replacement teacher third term report card comments that will not be accessible once I'm gone
7) do the Scholastic order
8) get hair done
9) meet C & H and new blog friends at airport!!!!!!
Thursday:
1) meeting before school
2) finish cleaning
3) shopping
4) retry/ repeat as needed from yesterdays calls
5) skating with class - depends on weather
6) to bank to get cash
7) take Shadow to meet potential dog-sitters
8) eat celebration cake from Nháo
Friday:
1) report cards
2) hopefully phone calls no longer needed as Part I arrives in the mail before today
3) call Blue Cross to arrange insurance if needed
4) visiting
Saturday:
1) report cards
2) shopping
3) packing
Sunday:
1) praying
2) packing
3) visiting
4) report cards
Monday:
1) hysterical phone calls to MP and CIC if no Part 1 which won't happen
2) send final confirmation of leave dates
3) send pension request form to the Board (find out to whom)
4) begin Secret Valentine week at work
Tuesday:
1) tearful phone calls as needed
2) skating with class (weather)
3) find out about applying for... is it called EI?
4) get cake for Valentine's lunch on Thursday
Wednesday:
1) apologetic phone calls as needed
2) report cards
Thursday:
1) packing
2) Valentine's to students
Friday:
1) PD Day at Palais de Congress
2) go to airport
Shopping?
- tablecloth that B suggested
- stuff that we need to make our computer and camera work in Vietnam
- Off Skintastic
- extra pet supplies
- mango juice for house-sitter Nháo
- safety gates
Now, what else am I forgetting?

Just a convertor and a 2 prong plug...the 2 prong plug we used was from another family that bought it in VN for about 50 cents. If you are staying upscale, like the Hilton (which we did for 2 nights), they have all the adaptors ready for you.
Ok, I think I'm having an anxiety attack! :)
Sounds so busy but so exciting. :)
I'm am chuckling to myself... I am remembering B the day before she left.
Lists are good and it will all get done. Hope the dog sitter works out good.
I can't wait to read your posts from Vietnam...
I have no idea how you will ever focus on report cards during all of this.... aghhhh!
