Waiting patiently...

Okay, maybe not so patiently. We thought we might have our twins tomorrow, or even today, but that is not how things work in the province they are from (Tra Vinh). We will have to wait until the G&R, which has not been scheduled yet. We may have the chance to stay in Tra Vinh and visit them for a few days beforehand. We are really hoping to see them on Wednesday but we have been cautioned not to get our hopes up.

On a lighter note - good news about the water. The price was not 19USD, it was 19000 dong, which is about $1.25. How embarrassing.

And on a more interesting note - there is another adoptive family here from Canada, and they have just adopted their twins! So, I got to cuddle baby twins today after all.

Sorry to everyone waiting for photos... hopefully just a few more days!

Hey, at least you are there and CLOSE to getting them:) We, too, had the same problem and ended up waiting a full WEEK before we had the G and R. It was torture but soon forgotten once we had Bella in our arms:) Hang in there-you are so close! Get all your 'touristy' plans out of the way:)

Hi guys... We too had to wait 5 days before the G and R. Looking back, it was a bit of a blessing (although it did not seem that way at the time) because it was the only time we really had to tour the area and buy souvenirs. There is much to see and do to keep you busy and distracted. Have fun exploring!!!

Glad to `see`that you have arrived safely on the other side of the world. It`s another beautiful day here in the Nation`s Capital AND the Senators lost another game last night. I hope mom liked her card.
Congratulations, so far, on how you are enjoying the adventure.

Yes, try to make the best of the wait. I can assure you that sight seeing with 2 babies is not the easiest thing in the world! :)
Take some day trips (or if you are brave - take a train overnight)
So glad you made it safely!
Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

Hey there, I would take advantage of the days by yourself to tour around and take lots of pictures and stuff to share with the boys when they are older... I don't think you will be able to do too much of the with two babies.
Soon those precious little guys will be in your arms where they belong.
